Care and learning that grows with your child

At Heights Little Learners, we believe in nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and heart. Whether your little one is just beginning their journey in the Ladybug Room or getting ready for kindergarten in our Pre-K program, each of our classrooms is designed to meet children where they are and guide them forward through play, exploration, and loving relationships.

We know that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent. That’s why we offer small group sizes, experienced teachers, and a warm, consistent environment that helps children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

Our curriculum & learning approach

We use the Experience Curriculum, a research-based, play-centered program built around monthly themes that spark wonder and encourage hands-on learning. Blending academics and play, our teachers guide children through music, books, games, and social connection—nurturing the whole child: heart, mind, body, and spirit.

We focus on development across key learning areas:

  • Language & Literacy – Storytelling, songs, vocabulary building, name recognition

  • Math & Problem Solving – Patterns, sorting, measuring, counting, and critical thinking

  • Science & Nature – Weather, plants, animals, sensory exploration, and simple experiments

  • Art & Creativity – Painting, dramatic play, music, and open-ended expression

  • Social & Emotional Development – Practicing kindness, empathy, and emotional self-regulation through daily interactions

  • Physical Development – Strengthening fine and gross motor skills through movement, yoga, and outdoor play

  • Character Education – We weave Christian values into our daily routines through simple prayers, stories, songs, and conversations about love, gratitude, and being a good neighbor

ENRICHING EXPERIENCES & OPEN COMMUNICATION

Beyond the Basics

Our days are filled with more than just core learning—we offer enriching extracurriculars like Storytelling, Spanish, Gardening, Music, Yoga, and Cooking to spark creativity and support the development of well-rounded, confident learners.

We believe families are partners in this journey. We use BrightWheel to share real-time updates, photos, and messages. In addition, we complete ASQ screenings and maintain an individual portfolio for each child, documenting growth, milestones, and accomplishments as part of the FOCUS state curriculum. You’re always welcome to connect by phone or in person—we’re here for you.

Rooted in care. Growing with purpose. Inspiring curiosity every day.
