To ensure the health and safety of all children and staff, children showing signs of illness will not be admitted. Please keep your child home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms: fever, diarrhea, vomiting, pink eye, or a contagious rash. Children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning. If your child’s temperature is 100.3°F or higher during the day, you will be contacted and asked to pick them up within an hour. If your child has a reportable communicable disease (e.g., chicken pox, salmonella), please notify the director so other parents can be informed.

We emphasize positive behaviors through praise, respect, redirection, and reinforcement. Our goal is to help children problem-solve, negotiate, and work through conflicts in a respectful and caring environment. Timeouts are not used. Children may only be placed in supervised separation if their actions pose a safety threat. For more serious or persistent behavioral concerns, we will work with you to determine a plan of action. State regulations require us to send home an Accident or Injury Report on the same day of any incident.
